Jereh Group & Yantai Port Group Secure Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Yantai/June 7, Jereh Group achieved a strategic cooperation agreement with Yantai Port Group. Forrest Wang, COO of Jereh Group, and Zhang Jianguo, Deputy General Manager of Yantai Port Group, signed the agreement as representatives from both sides.

 

Zhang Shuping, Party Secretary of Yantai City, Chen Fei, Mayor of Yantai City, Huo Gaoyuan, Board Chairmen of Yantai Port Group and many other distinguished guests were also present at the ceremony.

 

Based on the principles of “strategic cooperation, mutual support, joint development and shared benefits”, Jereh and Yantai Port reached a consensus to enhance collaboration in areas including import & export of heavy machinery and spare parts, Internet of Things, visualization technology, port cleaning, wastewater treatment, oil tank cleaning, oily waste disposal and etc.

Yantai Port, officially opened in 1861, is a key transportation hub that connects the North and South of China and also links Korea and Japan with the new Eurasia Land Bridge. Yantai Port has been listed as one of the 25 main ports and also one of the 15 ports that have privilege national policy.

The close cooperation between Jereh and Yantai Port could be traced back to 1999, when Jereh first started the import and export of spare parts. Over the past decades, the company has moved on to heavy machinery and once provided equipment for a long-distance pipeline project of Yantai Port. Yantai Port has witnessed Jereh’s unstoppable advance on the journey of globalization.

 

Upon the signing of agreement, both parties will integrate their advantages in resources, brand and business, to promote the high-quality development in new growth-driving industries. They shall closely adhere to Belt & Road Initiative to serve for national strategies and also do their utmost to boost local economies.
