World Environment Day: Jereh Contributes Continuous Efforts for Nature

On this coming June, we shall embrace the 46th World Environment Day, which was firstly held in 1974. This year sheds particular light on nature reservation by addressing the slogan “time for nature”. The message sending out by UN is clear: to care for ourselves, we must care for nature.

In the past year, the world has witnessed a series of heart-breaking news, from bushfires in Australia, Brazil and the U.S. to the locust infestations across East Africa, and now the globally-spread COVID-19 pandemic, which easily demonstrates the interdependence of humans and the webs of life where we exist.

Jereh Group, as a global enterprise who actively play its part in sustainability development, keeps contributing its own efforts to the improvement of the nature and environment.

Natural gas business is one of the main business areas that Jereh has been cultivating for nearly two decades. Leveraging cutting edge process technologies, excellent manufacturing ability and strict quality control system, Jereh is specialized in project design, development and equipment manufacturing for gas boosting, gas treatment as well as natural gas fueling businesses. For an example, Jereh has built over 400 gas fueling stations all over the world up to now, which could help reduce a decent amount of greenhouse gas emission, equivalent of planting 700,000 trees annually.

Figure 1: Jereh has built over 400 gas fueling stations all over the world.

In 2018, Jereh launched the campaign More LNG stations for Green China, which advocated to build 10,000 LNG fueling stations across China to help raise people’s awareness of clean energy and to improve domestic environment situation.

Meanwhile, Jereh also concentrate on developing advanced facilities for de-carbonization, acid gas removal, dehydration and etc. Wellhead associated gas is often burned directly, thus leaving a negative impact on environment due to its complex composition. To tackle this problem, Jereh has designed the Playwell Micro-LNG solution to help gather, purify and re-utilize associated gas, which reduces carbon emission and benefits energy conservation and reduce footprints on nature to the least.

In 2019, Jereh launched a new product line, the deep clean road sweeper, and thus entering the field of sanitation equipment. Jereh’s self-developed deep clean road sweeper is specially designed for cleaning civic roads, which adopts high-pressure water rotation cleaning device (patented) and high-negative-pressure multistage vacuum suction system. It features multiple functions including nebulization, spraying, disinfection and washing, so that contaminants accumulated in the road seams can be easily removed.

Jereh longs to devote its own strength to bringing a cleaner and safer environment to the residents. The equipment can actually do more than just dust suppression. It played an important role during COVID-19 containing at the beginning of 2020 as the equipment is able to cut off sedimentation pathways of bacteria and virus as well, especially in populated areas.

The R&D Manager, Mr. Che, says, “It is different from the traditional method of continuous watering, which only temporarily settles the dust instead of eliminating them. We use high-pressure water in this case, able to remove contaminants accumulated on the surface or in the seams, even including iron minerals. Afterwards, high-negative pressure multi-stage system will suck sway waste water and contaminants completely.” Places where adopt Jereh deep clean road sweeper could take on a fresh new look and offer a cleaner environment for residents.

Jereh’s environmental management business started as early as in 2006 by treating oily waste in the oilfield. After years of experience accumulation in the field, its current business scope has expanded widely to cover solid waste treatment, wastewater treatment, ecological remediation and so forth.

Till now, Jereh has treated over 900,000 tons of soil and accomplished more than 500 waste water treatment projects, improving environment home and abroad.

Jereh always actively practices social responsibilities as well as its belief of being an enterprise respected by people all around the world. The company is committed to providing customized equipment and services to global customers, delivering strong performance, and creating long-lasting value for them, while benefiting and cherishing the nature and environment we all share.
